Hundreds of high school robotics students gathered in Gaylord for a two-day competition this past weekend.
Gaylord High School hosted its first robotics district competition Friday and Saturday where visitors watched from the stands and via a live stream online.
The Devil Bots team needs to wait until April 8 to see where it stands compared to the 451 Michigan teams in the 23 district events taking place across the state, according to the coach.
Johannesburg-Lewiston’s Army of Sum team ranked 24th out of 40 teams at the event.
Army of Sum’s next district competition is slated for April 7 in Traverse City.
