The Ossining O-Bots of Ossining High School are among 47 teams competing in this week’s Hudson Valley Regional FIRST® Robotics Competition at Rockland Community College in Suffern.
Nearly 1,200 high school students between the ages of 18 and 18 have qualified from seven countries — including five high schools in the Hudson Valley.
Led by Ossining High School teachers Doug Albrecht and Mark Scinta, as well as fellow FRC mentor Ken Ocheltree, the O-bots also will compete to win a place in the FIRST® Robotics World Competition taking place in St. Louis on April 26 – 29.
